& let the sun

find its way

through

the scent

of your smile

 

let me

lean

on your side

in love's song

reside

& eat

of your fruit

where

nature's root

brings

taste 

so sweet

as the earth

stretches forth

to kiss

heaven's feet

 

let me

sit underneath

your branch

& feel

the mid-day

glance

of 

a face

in the sky

can I
