We build

monuments

to ourselves

lining

shelves

with the 

praises of men

 

and then

 

Nebuchadnezzar

comes calling

trawling

through our

life

and says,

 

"Learn from me

live a life

of humility"

 

So we

 

take down

the trophies

the plaques

and the honour roll

that we used

to

console

ourselves

 

where we

thought

mans prize

was the 

only size

that

fitted

 

then

after the mourning

the morning

lines

the shelves

again

 

but this time

with

 

Heaven's

Delight
